The route starts at East Avenue and Alexander Street, heads down to the Liberty Pole and finishes at Main and Fitzhugh Streets directly in front of the restaurant.

About Us
Christopher’s Restaurant & Custom Catering is a family-owned business built on generations of hard work, hospitality, and a love for bringing people together through great food.
Founded in 1982 by chef and proprietor Paul Christopher, the restaurant was inspired by the values passed down from his parents and grandparents—treating every guest like family and making every gathering memorable. Over the years, Paul has catered everything from elegant weddings and corporate events to military functions, earning a reputation for exceptional food and service.
Today, that legacy continues with his daughter, Dominique Christopher-Scaccia. After earning her degree in Food Service Management from Rochester Institute of Technology and spending more than a decade working alongside her father, Dominique joined him as a partner in the family business and now is the full owner.
Now continuing a tradition that spans generations—serving the Rochester community with passion, quality, and the belief that every meal should bring people together.

Christopher’s is currently located in the First Federal Plaza adjacent from where Grandfather Anthony Spiotti opened the Four Corners Bar and Grill in the 1950’s. The tradition continued with his children and generations to come. Phil Christopher and Gracie (Spiotti) Christopher opened Phils Coffee Shop in the 60’s and their son Paul founded Café Christopher’s in 1982. The restaurant was inspired by the values passed down from his parents and grandparents—treating every guest like family and making every gathering memorable. Over the years, Paul has catered everything from elegant weddings, corporate events, military functions and earning a reputation for exceptional food and service. Paul has focused on building a business based on word of mouth, being a staple for the down town business district for the past 40 years.
Today, that legacy continues with his daughter Dominique Christopher-Scaccia. Growing up immersed in her family’s restaurant Dominique was inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of her father and her grandparents, who each ran successful restaurants for decades. This early exposure to the culinary world instilled in her a passion for hospitality and a dedication to excellence. Dominique is now a dynamic hospitality leader and accomplished entrepreneur with over 18 years of progressive experience in food service management and restaurant ownership. Driven by her family’s pioneering example and her own entrepreneurial ambition Dominique became the owner of Christopher’s Restaurant and Custom Catering. Over the years, she has shepherded all aspects of the business—from inventive menu development, event catering, staff mentorship and community engagement. Under Dominique’s stewardship, Christopher’s has continued its tradition of culinary excellence and personalized service. Dominique now continues the traditions with her children.
